MG Windsor EV Launched: Price in India, Features, Details

MG has unveiled the prices of its new electric MPV, the Windsor EV, for the Indian market. The car comes in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence, with prices starting at Rs 9.99 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom).

This is MG’s third electric vehicle in India and the first model from its collaboration with JSW. Bookings will begin on 3rd October, with deliveries starting from 13th October 2024.

Key details:

• Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option: Pay Rs 3.5 per kilometre driven.
• Available in four colours: Starburst Black, Turquoise Green, Clay Beige, and Pearl White.
• Dimensions: 4.3m long, 2,700mm wheelbase, 5-seat layout.
• Equipped with a 38kWh battery, offering 136bhp and 200Nm torque, with a range of 331km on a full charge.
• Battery comes with a lifetime warranty and free public charging for the first year.

The Windsor EV offers four driving modes – Eco, Eco+, Normal, and Sport. The cabin is loaded with modern features like a 15.6-inch touchscreen, ambient lighting, and wireless charging. Safety features include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and a blind spot monitoring system.

Design highlights include split headlamps, flush-fitting door handles, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
