Interview with Shrikant N. Dalvi from Maratha Motorcycles

In our new interview series for the year 2023, we have with us Shirikant N. Dalvi from Maratha Motorcycles. We have featured his work over our website you can check out from here. 

We got an opportunity take an interview of him and here is the questionnaire: 

1. Which is the first bike you purchased from your own money?

Ans. Thunderbird 350cc

2. When did you realized that you wanted to be a bike builder?

Ans . When I was dropped out of Marine Engineering

3. How many bikes have you build till now?  

Ans. Around 50+ bikes.

4. Which is your dream bike? 

Ans. A chopper with radial engine.

5. What's your point of view on electric bikes? 

Ans. Its just a mode of transport without feel / pleasure of riding fuel motorcycles.

6. Who are others people who inspired you for your work? 

Ans. Senior Paul Orange County Choppers , Billy lane from Choppers Inc. , Arlen Ness from Arlen Ness Motorcycles.

7. What's your new project? 

Ans. There are some Bobbers in the making. Some more interesting projects are scheduled ahead.
