Kia Telluride is a mid segment 3 row seater SUV crossover car. It is launched to compete with Ford Explorer and Mazda CX9. It is the largest car by Kia. Currently it is updated with 4 new color schemes. Kia Telluride is offered in 4 variants. It features 3.8L V6 DOHC engine and 8 speed automatic transmission. Kia Telluride also won Car of the year 2020 award.  

Kia Telluride Price and Expected Launch Date in India

Kia Telluride is currently offered in some international markets. The launch of this car in India is expected in last of 2024. Base variant is available at $31,990 and flagship variant at $42,190 in US Markets. 

In India if Kia produces locally then car might cost around INR 20-21 Lakh for the base variant and INR 33-34 Lakhs for the flagship. These all are tentative ex-showroom prices. 

Kia Telluride can be major competition to Ford Endeavour, MG Gloster. However there is no official words from the company on its India launch. Also it is available in left hand drive only and for India it has to be completely re-engineered.

Kia Telluride comes with bold and bulky body design. Impressive black grilles, LED DRLs, 20 inch alloys and unique LED Taillight makes it more appealing. 

It is available in 9 color schemes but base variant is available in limited colors. It features 3.8L DOHC 24-Valves V6 engine which can churn out maximum of 291 HP at 6,000 RPM. It is available in 8 speed automatic transmission. You can opt for standard front wheel drive or you can swap that with all wheel drive. 

On safety side, all four wheels have ABS disc brakes. There will be dual air bags in front row. Also there is driver knee airbag. It comes with hill start assist, electronic stability, forward collision warning, etc. 

On entertainment and luxury side it has 8-Inch Touchscreen Infotainment System Android Auto & Apple Car Play Connectivity.  Sound Absorbing Windshield Glass. Both second and third row will have air conditioning system. Leg room is also great for both the rows.
