General Motors Infantry Squad Vehicle
General Motors Defense got the $214 million contract from American Army to built Infantry Squad Vehicle. These are designed for rapid response and is based on Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. It uses 90% off the shelf parts from the commercial vehicle.
The military criteria is the vehicle should be able to be carried in a sling underneath a Blackhawk and can be fit inside the Chinook Helicopter.
This ISV uses stripped down frame with composite composite hood and fenders which can be build in several configuration.
