ARC Vector an Electric Superbike with Accessories Revealed
UK Based start-up Arc (Not Keanu Reeve's Arc Motorcycles) now revealed the fully electric superbike at EICMA in Milan. Arc got the investment from the Jaguar Land Rover company for launching the first ever electric bike with Human Machine Interface.
There are not much details revealed but the body is built using carbon composite in monocoque style. They used carbon fibre swingarm for low weight. It has brembo braking system and ohlins dampers.
The official figures are not revealed but company said that the bike can go 120 miles in a go in city. It takes only 2.7 seconds to reach 0-60 mph. Top speed is around 124 mph.
They also launched the helmet and jacket which are connected with Vector to provide best riding experience.
The helmet is developed in partnership in helmet maker Hadeon. It is a wifi connected zenith helmet which has integrated display for the rider which will shows the battery status of bike, speed of the bike, also has a camera for the rider to show the other riders at blind spot. User can give inputs through the Voice control system.
The Jacket is develop in partnership with the UK based Company Knox. The jacket will provide feedback to user based on riding experiences through audio to keep rider safe and aware.
This advanced bike is priced at $117000. There will be only 399 units to be built by them.
