Honda Neo Sports Cafe Bike Teased
Honda has released a YouTube video teasing their latest product, the Honda Neo Sports Cafe. The company is developing the bike under 'Project N.S.C'.
The bike will make its worldwide introduction on November sixth, a day prior to the 2017 EICMA held from November seventh to twelfth in Milan, Italy. While the teaser shows little details about the bike, it is certain that it will have classic design lines with modern underpinnings. The silhouette suggests modern classic proportions with a chiseled fuel tank that ends with a single piece seat. Judging by the position of the handlebars and the seat, the riding position should be comfortable and not excessively aggressive.
The tail is short and stubby, and underneath the tail, the back tire hugger with license plate holder is present. Expect indicators to flank the number plate. Speaking about the indicators, the units are LED. So is the circular fog light, which also comes with a semi-circular DRL. The instrument cluster design incorporates a blend of circular and rectangular design elements. Going by the shape, it is likely that the bike will get an analog-computerized combo cluster. The teaser also shows the front brake, which appears to include double disks with spiral calipers.
Honda has not uncovered the mechanical underpinnings of the motorcycle. It is possible that the bike is a café racer iteration of the Honda CB1000R. Expect more details of the upcoming motorcycle at the show.
