Suzuki SF ABS price in India, Launched, Specs, Features
Suzuki is working hard to fetch a considerable sales chunk from 150cc segment and next step toward this milestone would be the introduction of Gixxer SF ABS into Indian market. A recent leaked brochure for the motorcycle shows availability of an ABS ring on the front brake, that too with all new graphics on fuel tank, front cowl and side fairing.
Use of three shades (Red, Black and White) on the motorcycle brings new breeze out of this already excelling design. This one shown here is listed under SP variant and thus, ABS may stay exclusive to this single variant only.

Fuel injection was already on offer and this will act as the most lucrative option for buyers with budget of around INR 1 lakh. The only question arriving at this point is regarding the use of single or dual channel ABS kit on Gixxer SF.
If going by the rival attitude of TVS, Suzuki will offer dual channel ABS but since Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is available with single channel ABS, it is even possible for them to bring the same to Gixxer SF. Suzuki may price the same for INR 1 Lakh if they use single channel unit while dual channel may be possible around INR 1.05 lakh. This makes the ABS model dearer by INR 7000-12000, depending the type of ABS Suzuki offers.
Suzuki Gixxer SF FI is powered by 154.9cc, single cylinder engine producing 14.6 BHP and 14 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Apart from being powerful and lightweight in comparison to others, the aerodynamic design is wind tunnel tested and helps rider achieve higher efficiency in terms of performance and mileage.
Introduction of ABS will help Suzuki create awareness regarding safety and may speed up the process of introducing ABS on other premium street fighters like Yamaha FZS, Honda CB Hornet 160R and Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
