Chevrolet India has showcased its MPV Spin at the Auto Expo 2016. The car is expected to make it to the Indian automotive scene by 2017. The car is wonder to be priced in the joint of INR 8 to 12 lacs and will compete against the likes of Renault Lodgey, Honda Mobilio.

Chevrolet Spin Specifications 

1.Its 1.5-litre petrol engine is expected to be integrated with a multi point fuel injection system that helps in  fuel economy.
2.It is also said that it can return a maximum mileage of 13 to 14 Kmpl on the expressways and gives around 11 to 12 Kmpl.
3.The company is going to incorporate its diesel engine with a common rail based direct injection fuel supply system.
4.This will deliver a fuel economy about 18 Kmpl on the bigger roads, which might come down to 15 Kmpl approximately under the city traffic conditions.

Power

1.The diesel power plant is expected to have the capacity of a maximum power of 74bhp at 4000rpm in combination with a peak torque output of 190Nm in the range of 1750 to 2500rpm.
2.Its 1485cc petrol engine can produce 107.5bhp of power at 6000rpm along with a peak torque output of 141Nm at just 4000rpm.

Exterior 

The company has designed this vehicle with an overall length of 4360mm along with a total width of 1735mm, which includes external rear view mirrors. Its decent height is about 1683 that ensures  head room for all resident . It has a large wheelbase, which measures about 2620mm, which helps in offering  leg room for all passengers.

Interior 

 There is no information available relating to this vehicle, it is hard to venture about the interior dimensions of this multi purpose vehicle.Furthermore, this MPV may also feature a decent boot volume that can be extended further. It is going to come with a large fuel tank as well, which helps in planning for longer journeys.

 The speculation this vehicle will arrive in Indian car market with both petrol and diesel engine options. Its petrol variants are speculated to host a 1.5-litre VVT-i engine, This engine has a displacement capacity of 1485cc and is integrated with a multi point fuel injection technology. It is capable of producing a maximum power of 107bhp at 6000rpm and  a pounding torque of 141Nm at 4000rpm. This engine is expected to be paired with a six speed automatic transmission gearbox, which will send the engine power to its front wheels.
Its diesel versions may house the 1.3-litre motor. The mill has the ability to  a maximum power of 74bhp at 4000rpm and yields a hammering torque of 190Nm between 1750 to 2500rpm. Its transmission duties will be handled by a expected five speed manual transmission gearbox. Both these engine are integrated with four cylinders and sixteen valves using double overhead  based valve configuration.
